We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic / Machinist to join our team. As a member of our maintenance operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and mechanical equipment.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and enhancing production quality by ensuring the proper functioning of machinery and mechanical systems.
  • Engaging in precision machining, managing tasks such as shaping, cutting, and fabricating metal parts.
  • Collaborating with production teams and subcontractors to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
  • Performing preventive maintenance across various systems, including engines, motors, pneumatic tools, and conveyors.
  • Contribution to building maintenance, ensuring the mechanical and electrical systems are up to par.
  • Innovate and fabricate repair parts using standard turning and plane machines, boring and drilling machines, grinders, horizontal mill, and engine lathe.
  • Recording and managing data using our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience and knowledge in the Machinist trade.
  • Understanding of electrical and PLC controls, and ability to read and interpret diagrams.
  • Deep knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Minimum of a 2-Year Industrial Maintenance Associate's Degree or equivalent in experience and skill.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a dedicated team.
  • Excellent communication skills, proficiency in English, and ability to handle various physical demands of the job.
