Job Title: Account Manager

The Account Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, as well as identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the industrial sector. This role requires a strong understanding of instrumentation and automation products, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue growth and expand market share.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including regular communication and technical support.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including developing and presenting proposals and quotes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure alignment and effective sales strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of sales experience in the industrial sector, with a focus on instrumentation and automation products.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record of success in sales and business development, with a strong understanding of customer needs and market trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on results and customer satisfaction.
Physical Requirements:
  • Primarily sitting at a computer, with occasional travel to customer sites and industry events.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with occasional heavy lifting or bending.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and achieving sales targets.
