Job Summary

ABM Services is seeking a highly skilled Lead Building Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of all mechanical systems within our properties.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance personnel to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to prevent equipment failures and minimize downtime.
  • Conduct regular inspections of mechanical systems to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continuously improve maintenance processes.
Requirements
  • 3-4 years of progressive experience in commercial properties maintenance.
  • Relevant state/local licenses for Stationary Engineer and/or HVAC, plus universal level refrigerant recovery license and boiler license.
  • Certification meeting OSHA ACM awareness training requirements.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of energy conservation and building automation systems.
