Senior Administrative Coordinator

Massachusetts General Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Senior Administrative Coordinator to provide exceptional support to leadership and administrative staff throughout the Department.
Job SummaryThe ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-4 years of general office work experience, with excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills. They will be able to prioritize work effectively, handle confidential information, and work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to a diverse group of our workforce, including clerical duties, word processing, and data entry.
- Assist with function arrangements, such as ordering refreshments, providing audiovisual equipment, and scheduling meeting rooms.
- Maintain office files and record-keeping procedures, and process check requests for business expenses and reimbursements.
- Purchase products and services via ebuy, and process and reconcile check deposits and invoices.
- Provide coverage for other support staff during vacations, illness, and breaks.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of general office work experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills required for high-volume, interactive office environment.
- Strong judgment and prioritization skills.
- Intermediate level of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Typing speed of 55-65 WPM.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
