Job Requirements

Central Nebraska Rehabilitation Services seeks an experienced and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients using appropriate occupational therapy techniques and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide hands-on assessment, treatment, and direction to subordinate staff on matters of treatment.
  • Confer with physicians and other staff members to exchange, discuss, and evaluate patient information for planning, modifying, and coordinating treatment plans.
  • Document progress, discharge summaries, home programs, and other required documentation in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, CNRS policies, and procedures, including safety processes.
  • Maintain patient and family confidentiality at all times.
  • Participate in continuing education activities and obtain required contact hours.

Requirements:

  • Licensed as a Registered Occupational Therapist in the state of Nebraska.
  • Regular and consistent attendance is an essential function of the job.
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.
