Job Overview

At GroHR, we're dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live fulfilling lives. As an In-Home Support Mentor, you'll play a vital role in teaching life and social skills to our clients in their own homes and communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Empower individuals to manage their Individual Support Plan (ISP) and make informed decisions about their lives.
  • Assist with activities of daily living, such as personal care and household tasks, as needed.
  • Seek input from individuals and families to ensure their needs are met and their voices are heard.
  • Help individuals advocate for their needs and desires, promoting their autonomy and independence.
  • Supervise overall medical health, nutrition, social, and general welfare, ensuring our clients receive the support they need to thrive.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma required; BA degree in Human Services or related field preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities; 3 years preferred.
  • A passion for supporting our clients and a commitment to their well-being.
  • Valid Driver's License, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record.
  • Must pass company background and reference checks.
