At Goodwill Industries of Central Texas, we are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team as a Sales Floor Associate.

About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity where you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring an enjoyable shopping experience for our customers. As a Sales Floor Associate, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing them with a positive and welcoming experience.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues alike. You will also be responsible for maintaining the sales floor to ensure a safe and clean environment for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional, friendly, and courteous service to all customers inside the store, outside of the store, and over the phone.
  • Effectively process sales transactions at the POS.
  • Work a flexible schedule set by the supervisor in support of the store opening, production, and closing operations.
  • Maintain knowledge of merchandise and answer customers' questions courteously and promptly.
  • Maintain dressing room standards.
  • Maintain sales floor presentation, communicating to management need for additional or removal of product.
  • Maintain an orderly and clean register area.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Ability to lift 35 pounds frequently.
  • Regular, predictable attendance is required as business demands dictate.

$45,000 per year estimated salary. Pay may vary based on location and experience.
