About the Role

CNN Audio is seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our Revenue and Partnerships team as an Account Executive. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in audio ad sales and drive revenue growth for our podcast network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a sales pipeline and generate new leads to drive revenue growth.
  • Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities with audio-centric advertisers, both directly and through agencies.
  • Collaborate with internal sales leads to prioritize audio opportunities and serve as a subject matter expert for CNN Audio.
  • Build strong relationships with internal content partners to position our audio offerings effectively in the market.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in audio ad sales, preferably in a podcasting or audio-centric environment.
  • Strong passion for news, sales, and podcasts, with a hunter mentality and proven ability to generate new business.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
  • Proficient in the sales cycle and able to navigate complex sales opportunities.

Base pay for this role is $122,000 - $227,500 per year, with additional rewards and benefits available to employees.
