Professional Heavy-Duty Truck Driver

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Professional Heavy-Duty Truck Driver to join our team at Clean Harbors in Stoughton, MA.
Salary:$26.00-$28.00 per hour, based on experience.
About the RoleAs a Class B CDL Driver, you will be responsible for operating light and heavy-duty trucks for hazardous waste clean-up at various customer sites. This includes ensuring compliance with safety regulations, maintaining accurate logs, and providing high customer service.
The position requires a valid Class B CDL and entails on-call emergency response duties, alongside opportunities for professional growth. You will operate commercial trucks, assist field laborers when needed, and perform other driving and non-driving duties on and off customer sites associated with hazardous waste clean-up.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure Health and Safety: Comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes, and always act in a safe manner.
- Operate Commercial Trucks: Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state (provincial), and federal requirements.
- Load and Unload Trucks: Ensure proper placarding of vehicles to meet Company and DOT requirements/regulations.
- Maintain Daily Logs: Accurately maintain daily logs, time sheets, and various reports.
- Comply with Regulations: Follow all local, state (provincial), and federal compliance regulations and rules.
- Valid Class B CDL: Possess a valid Class B CDL and obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment.
- Commercial Driving Experience: Have previous commercial driver experience or ability to use various mobile devices.
- Physical Abilities: Perform physical functions per job requirements.
- Certifications: Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical, by position.
