Job Overview

At Utilitra, we're seeking a skilled Electrical Drafting Specialist to join our team. As an integral part of our engineering operations, you will play a crucial role in supporting the electronic drafting activities associated with utility construction.

About the Role:

This position is responsible for providing technical support in the design and layout of construction prints, as well as assisting with daily contract administration. You will be working closely with our engineering staff to ensure that all projects are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist staff with electronic document management and data input into electronic format.
  • Perform ACAD/Microsoft drawing activities as assigned, utilizing high proficiency levels in AutoCAD and/or Microstation.
  • Collaborate with engineering staff to design and layout construction prints.
  • Complete daily contract administration tasks, including attending project meetings.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A.S. from a technical school or equivalent experience.
  • High proficiency level in MS Office applications, specifically Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with contractual related project/work environment a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits, including company-paid health insurance, 100% 401k match, paid holiday & vacation time, educational assistance, and various discount programs.
