Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Switchgear Leak Tester to join our team at G & W Electric Company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble external components on the switch, ensuring accurate and efficient production.
  • Maintain and operate leak test equipment to ensure product quality.
  • Conduct thorough leak tests on fully pressurized Switchgear, adhering to strict quality control standards.
  • Inspect all work prior to passing it on to the next operation, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Document actions by completing production and quality forms, providing valuable insights for process improvement.

Requirements:

  • Ability to safely use small hand and power tools, with a focus on precision and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask, handling multiple processes simultaneously.
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience and skill development required.
  • Up to 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment is desirable.

Physical Demands: The work is classified as Medium - Heavy Physical Demand Level (PDL) by the US Dept of Labor's Dictionary of Occupational Titles.
