Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool team at LewisGale Hospital Pulaski. Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, and implement patient care based on established standards and protocols.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions and effective communication.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, using standardized templates and electronic medical records.
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards, including HIPAA and Joint Commission guidelines.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training programs to enhance clinical skills and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
Requirements
  • Degree: Associate Degree or Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Licensure: Active licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Virginia.
  • Certifications: Current certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
  • Experience: At least one year of experience in a similar role, preferably in an acute care setting.
