About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager of Housing Compliance to join our team at Downtown Emergency Service Center. As a key member of our Housing Program, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to affordable housing and homeless services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and report on compliance risks and incidents, and develop corrective action plans to mitigate these risks.
  • Collaborate with government agencies and contractors to ensure timely renewal and amendment of contracts.
  • Provide training and guidance to housing program staff on compliance matters.
  • Coordinate and support external audits and monitoring visits, and ensure readiness for audits.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Non-profit Management, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in affordable housing/homeless services compliance, management, or operations.
  • Experience working with local, state, and federal affordable housing and homeless government departments.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Non-profit Management, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience working with local, state, and federal affordable housing and homeless government departments.
  • Experience reviewing budgets in-line with federal and other regulatory requirements.
