Travel Imaging Specialist for Dynamic Healthcare Environments

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to join our team of healthcare professionals in Atlanta, Georgia. This 13-week contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a leading medical facility and contribute to delivering exceptional patient care.
Job SummaryThis Radiology Technician role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures using various equipment, such as X-ray machines and MRI scanners. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare staff to ensure accurate diagnoses and efficient treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain imaging equipment according to safety protocols and manufacturer instructions
- Position patients correctly for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and minimizing radiation exposure
- Analyze images to detect abnormalities and report findings to radiologists
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, exam results, and equipment maintenance
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Radiology Technician in a hospital or clinical setting
- ARRT certification and current licensure in the state of practice
- Familiarity with Cerner electronic health record system
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, including shifts up to 10 hours long
