Job Summary

The Human Resource Representative will provide administrative support to the Senior Human Business Partner, focusing on complex and specialized tasks such as reviewing job applications, managing employee records, and generating reports. This role will cover various HR functional areas, including operations support, recruiting, employee engagement, onboarding, employee relations, training, and communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in creating job postings, screening, interviewing, and facilitating the hiring process for all locations.
  • Manage employee records in Workday, ensuring accuracy and completeness of details such as employee contact information, job classification, pay rates, and organizational structure.
  • Track and manage active job openings and received applications, as well as internal and external job postings.
  • Conduct preliminary interviews and provide recommendations for entry-level and non-exempt positions.
  • Ensure accurate records of applicant dispositions and add disposition codes to all applicants in Workday.
  • Support Affirmative Action compliance in all recruiting, promotions, and terminations.
  • Collaborate with the HRBP on performance management issues and analyze exit interviews to make actionable recommendations.
  • Support annual and ongoing projects such as performance review and salary planning processes, and talent management initiatives.
  • Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including disciplinary matters, hiring, disputes, and investigations.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.
Requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to type at least 40 words per minute.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 5 years' experience as an HR professional.
