Operations Management Leader

We are seeking an experienced Operations Management Leader to oversee the daily operations of our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for supervising assigned personnel, coordinating tasks, and resolving technical and operational problems.
Main Responsibilities
1. Supervise assigned personnel, including performance evaluations, scheduling, orientation, and training. Make recommendations on employee hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, discipline, terminations, and similar actions. Resolve grievances and other personnel problems within position responsibilities.
2. Coordinate the assignment of tasks and help resolve technical and operational problems. Evaluate the impact of solutions to ensure goals are achieved.
3. Develop collaborative relationships with hospital clinic management.
4. Work with the Academic Administrator to assure that compliance policies are executed for the division and participating physicians.
5. Evaluate methods and procedures or develop alternative techniques for processing work or improving the operating efficiency/effectiveness of the Division.
6. Monitor billing revenue to ensure maximum reimbursement. Review financial and productivity forecasts.
7. Monitor and approve expenditures during the fiscal year ensuring compliance with Budget.
8. Oversee billing and collection activities as well as reimbursements as needed.
Standard Supervisor Level Responsibilities
1. Supervise assigned personnel including performance evaluations, scheduling, orientation, and training. Make recommendations on employee hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, discipline, terminations, and similar actions. 2. Coordinates the assignment of tasks and helps resolve technical and operational problems. Evaluates the impact of solutions to ensure goals are achieved.
3. Provides effective direction, guidance, and leadership over the staff for effective teamwork and motivation and fosters the effective integration of efforts with system-wide initiatives.
4. Encourages and supports diverse views and approaches, demonstrates Standards of Respect, and contributes to creating and maintaining an environment of professionalism, respect, tolerance, civility and acceptance toward all employees, patients and visitors.
5. Integrates diversity into departmental objectives, such as hiring, promotions, training, vendor selections, etc.
6. Participates in performance improvement initiatives and demonstrates the use of quality improvement in daily operations.
7. Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies such as Joint Commission, DPH, etc. Develops and maintains procedures necessary to meet regulatory requirements.
8. Ensures that department complies with hospital established policies, quality assurance programs, safety, and infection control policies and procedures.
9. Ensures adequate equipment and supplies for department.
10. Develops and maintains established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives.
11. Ensures compliance to all health and safety regulations and requirements.
12. Performs similar or related duties as required or directed.
Position Qualifications
1. Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related healthcare degree.
2. Three years of relevant work experience, one of which is in a supervisory or management capacity.
3. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
4. Proficiency in computer systems.
5. Must have ability to perform a variety of complex duties ranging from direct involvement in individual processes to overseeing projects.
Salary Information
The estimated annual salary range for this position is $85,000-$110,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
