Key Responsibilities:

* Support the project management team in executing capital projects, particularly with major power plants and equipment such as turbines, generators, pumps, motors, and control systems.

* Ensure projects prioritize Safety and Environmental Compliance, maintaining a physical field presence for at least 80% of the workday to address issues with contractors and the project management team.

* Perform site construction oversight inspections to monitor the quality of work and materials provided by vendors and subcontractors.

* Inspect work quality and adherence to contract specifications under the supervision of the Construction Manager and/or Project Manager, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, codes, and company standards.

* Ensure the company receives specified products and services that perform as required, understanding and enforcing the Scope of Work (SOW) and company Specifications and Standards.

* Provide quality inspection reports/status updates to management, offer feedback to contractors and engineers, and understand the company's Supplemental Terms & Conditions and Safety and Environmental Compliance standards.

Requirements:

* Strong understanding of construction management principles and practices.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
