About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Cashier at Total Wine & More. As a Cashier, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide top-notch customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment.
  • Verify customer identification and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Balance a register drawer and maintain a high level of accuracy in all transactions.
  • Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to become familiar with our products and services.
  • Assist with stocking and maintaining inventory levels, and communicate any issues to leadership.
  • Maintain a clean and safe store environment, including the sales floor, stock room, and other areas.
Requirements
  • 21 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Experience using technology and access to information necessary to complete daily responsibilities.
  • 1-year cash handling or store associate experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
