**Job Title:** Healthcare Professional - Clinical Leader

Betances Health Center

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year

**About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Clinical Leader to join our team at Betances Health Center. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for providing leadership and patient education to staff and patients, as well as coordinating the day-to-day clinical administrative functions of our primary care practice and specialty services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide oversight of the Licensed Practical Nursing and/or Medical Assistant staff, including laboratory, primary care, specialty services, provider assignments, and schedule.
  • Offer health education and follow-up for patients regarding preventive or urgent care, participating in collaborative initiatives to address health promotion and chronic care.
  • Conduct internal collaborative work between the primary care practice and specialty clinics to ensure optimal utilization of services.
  • Evaluate and maintain quality standards set by external regulatory agencies and internal standard operating protocols and procedures.
  • Prepare QA and CQI reports for monthly and quarterly committee meetings as assigned by the Medical Director.
  • Provide triage services as needed.
  • Report to regulatory agencies as required by law.
  • Coordinate communication between Betances and admitting ER and hospital centers.
  • Oversee patient flow to providers and efficient patient departure from the clinic.
  • Maintain emergency equipment, biological, and medications to ensure optimal readiness.
  • Order medical supplies and durable medical equipment.
  • Coordinate delivery and tracking of pharmaceutical samples. Special Projects to be determined by the Medical Director.
  • Administer medication (orally, subcutaneously, nebulized).
  • Provide wound care.
  • Ensure immunizations are stored as per CDC regulations and temperature logs are monitored and maintained.
  • Validate that all vaccines given to children are entered into the City Immunization registry (CIR).
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • NYS Licensed Registered Nurse with 2-5 years of experience in a Primary Care Center or Ambulatory Center. Will consider comparable inpatient experience. BCLS certification.
  • BS/MS Nursing degree.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Assertive, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Intermediate computer proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Willing to train beyond basic skills.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English or Chinese/English) preferred.
