UCHealth is seeking a skilled Sleep Specialist to join our team at the Leprino Building Anschutz Campus. As a key member of our Leprino Sleep Lab, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to our mission of improving lives.
Job SummaryWe are offering a competitive salary of $25.80-$38.70 per hour, based on experience, for this full-time position with a 0.9 FTE and 72-hour pay period. This night shift role requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct sleep studies and sleep disorder treatments, preparing equipment and interviewing patients to determine sleep disorder issues.
- Perform testing, score, interpret, and report results, educating patients about test outcomes, sleep disorders, and available resources.
- Maintain and calibrate equipment, identifying needed repairs and replacements.
To be successful in this role, you should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preferred background in Polysomnography or Respiratory Therapy. A Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification or equivalent, as well as Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, are required.
