Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in an inpatient setting, working on a supplemental/prn basis. This role is ideal for professionals who value flexibility and variety in their work.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' communication and swallowing abilities to develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Conduct assessments, screenings, and diagnostic tests to identify speech and language disorders.
  • Design and implement individualized treatment programs to improve patients' functional communication and swallowing skills.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication among professionals.
Requirements
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Certification of Clinical Competency (CCC) by the Board of American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
  • Current Maryland State license or eligibility required.
  • One year of recent acute/subacute experience, including clinical fellowships (CFY), is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to navigate electronic medical records.
