About the RoleThe RN Supervisor will lead our clinical team, working closely with physicians, administrators, and other staff members to ensure effective patient care and quality standards are met. This role involves coordinating nursing efforts, supervising staff, and promoting the clinic's goals and philosophies.
Responsibilities- Lead and supervise nursing and clinical support staff, including delegation of work responsibilities, training, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Participate in CCHC's management team, promoting the clinic's goals and philosophies, and actively cooperating with others to achieve these goals.
- Contribute to performance improvement activities using data for clinical and operational outcomes.
- Serve as an agency ambassador, promoting the best interests of staff and patients.
- Develop processes and procedures to ensure quality patient services and compliance with professional standards.
- Oversee departmental budgets, inventory management, and vaccine storage.
- Maintain patient care quality, ensuring delivery of high-quality services that comply with patient safety goals and implement risk management procedures.
- Ensure clinical staff comply with quality, service performance, and medical record audits.
- Covid-19 vaccination required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree minimum.
- Valid and current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Three years of experience as a RN Supervisor, preferably in a community health setting.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and computer skills.
- Ability to work at multiple locations, flexible schedule, and reliable transportation.
