Airport Lounge Culinary Expert

We are seeking a skilled Airport Lounge Cook to join our team at Hyde Park Hospitality. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food in our airport lounge located inside the San Francisco International Airport.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in the food service industry as a cook and possess knowledge of food handling safety and hygiene requirements. You will also need to pass and obtain all required certifications/licenses, including ServSafe Food Handler certification.

• Prepare and cook food according to production guidelines and recipes
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation
• Set up and break down workstations
• Cook and prepare food on the front line, cooking for guests in action station

You will also be responsible for ensuring food is stored at the appropriate temperature for the appropriate length of time and following all food safety standards. Additionally, you will complete daily temperature logs and must be able to safely operate all kitchen equipment.

• Minimum one year of experience in the food service industry as a cook
• Knowledge of food handling safety and hygiene requirements
• ServSafe Food Handler certification
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure and awareness of surroundings and cultural differences
• Physical ability and stamina to stand for long hours
