Job Description

Aqua Blue Pools is seeking a skilled Masonry Specialist to join our team in Hollywood, SC.

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Job

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced mason to install and repair pool tile, coping, decking, and pool structures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry, a passion for delivering top-quality work, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pool Tile Installation: Install and repair pool tile, ensuring proper alignment and installation practices.
  • Pool Coping Installation: Install and repair pool coping, including various materials such as stone, brick, concrete, and pavers.
  • Pool Decking Construction: Construct and repair pool decking, including concrete, natural stone, and other surfaces.
  • Pool Structure Work: Work on pool structures, ensuring structural integrity and attention to design details.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with construction teams to ensure projects are completed on time and meet Aqua Blue Pools' quality standards.
  • Safety Protocols: Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

  • Masonry Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in masonry, with a focus on pool-related work preferred.
  • Pedigree: Expertise in pool tile installation, pool coping, and pool decking.
  • Materials Knowledge: Experience working with a variety of materials (stone, brick, concrete, etc.).
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality finishes.
  • Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Weather Adaptability: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Transportation: Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Software Proficiency: Have experience using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Digital Scheduling: Learn to use our Digital Scheduling and related software.
  • Time Management: Have the ability to manage your time and stay organized and focused.
  • Customer Service: Maintain the highest standards in customer-service; ethical and professional conduct.
  • Quality Pursuit: Have a relentless pursuit of quality work output - consistently open to encouragement, training and coaching.
