Job Title: Senior Linux Kernel Developer Position
Job Description:
Oracle's Linux team is seeking a highly skilled Senior Linux Kernel Developer to join our team. As a Senior Linux Kernel Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Linux kernel for Oracle's engineered systems and cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the Linux kernel for Oracle's engineered systems and cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate with other developers to resolve complex kernel issues and improve kernel performance
- Contribute to upstream Linux development and ensure that Oracle's kernel patches are merged into the mainline Linux kernel
- Work with the Oracle Linux team to develop and maintain the Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel (UEK)
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in kernel development and maintenance
- Strong understanding of Linux kernel internals and architecture
- Experience with kernel debugging and troubleshooting
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
