Job Title: Traffic Engineering Leader

We are seeking a highly experienced Traffic Engineering Leader to join our team at Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP. This is a unique opportunity to take on a leadership role in expanding our presence in the Texas market.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of experience in designing transportation projects, a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, and be registered as a P.E. in the state of Texas. They will also have a strong knowledge of TXDOT Policies and Procedures, a track record of developing and growing engineering groups, and excellent communication and business development skills.

The Traffic Engineering Leader will be responsible for building and managing a traffic engineering group within the Texas market, assisting in the expansion of our presence in Texas, and helping guide the overall direction of our growth and expansion in Texas and throughout the company.

Key responsibilities will include operating with integrity and sound business principles, business planning and strategy, establishing goals, building and maintaining positive client relationships, open communication with partners and team, and growing and directing the roadway design practice.

The successful candidate will also have experience with all aspects of engineering project management, including preparing scopes of work, cost estimates, and project schedules, ensuring quality and timeliness of deliverables, and supervising the execution of work.
