Maintenance Technician

Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding career in maintenance? Lactalis American Group, the world leader in dairy, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team.

About the Role

This is a 12 hour shift position that requires rotating shifts, with every other weekend off. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing processing and packaging equipment and distribution systems.

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and facilities
  • Aid in the manufacturing of all company products in a safe and sanitary work environment
  • Perform emergency repairs in breakdown situations
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment as scheduled
  • Ensure all programs are being upheld and documentation is current
Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled individual with:

  • Working knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems
  • Ability to assess all areas of machines and support equipment in Dairy facility
  • Knowledge of hydraulic/pneumatic systems
  • Knowledge of boiler function and operation
  • 3-5 years experience in maintenance divisions or experience in a related position
  • Ability to perform TIG welding
