Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at University Heights Rehab and Care Community. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate resident care with other departments, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and standard of practice.
- Provide treatments and care to medically complex residents in collaboration with the physician.
- Attend care plan meetings and provide updates as necessary to ensure appropriate resident care.
- Respond to all resident call lights, regardless of assignment.
- Coordinate with outside agencies, including hospitals, hospice, home health, lab, and x-ray services.
Requirements
- Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN in Colorado.
- CPR Certification.
- One-year experience in a long-term care environment (preferred).
