Job Summary

We are seeking a Hospitality Assistant to join our team at Wintergreen Resort. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of kitchen floors, dishes, pots and pans, china and glassware. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the dishwashing area, loading dock, and surrounding areas
  • Operate the dishwasher and ensure proper cleaning of dishes
  • Empty trash and recyclables during and at the end of each shift
  • Sweep and mop the entire kitchen at the end of each shift
  • Assist chefs and cooks in all areas of the kitchen, including cleaning, prepping, and cooking

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
