About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Social Media Manager to join our team at Pentera, a leading cybersecurity company. As a key member of our Brand and Communications team, you will be responsible for developing and executing our social media strategy, creating engaging content, and building our online presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Create high-quality, engaging content for our social media channels, including LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
  • Monitor and respond to audience comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with our Customer Operation Managers, Sales, HR, Product Marketing, and Digital Marketing teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify industry trends, potential campaign opportunities, and effective communications strategies.
  • Build and manage community advocacy programs, supporting them with content to post on their social profiles.
  • Plan and execute a paid influencer program to promote our brand message.
  • Write and publish posts on behalf of executives, ensuring content is tailored to reflect their voice and professional persona.
  • Maintain our Brand Ambassador program of internal SMEs.
  • Report on community growth and engagement on a monthly and quarterly basis.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in social media marketing within the cyber security industry.
  • Hands-on experience in building, managing, and reporting on social strategy, a social content calendar, and day-to-day execution on social media channels.
  • Passion for technology and being on top of tech innovation.
  • A good understanding of cybersecurity concepts and terms.
  • Strong familiarity and knowledge of security forums and discussion channels.
  • Engaging writing skills and the ability to develop creative copy and visuals.
  • A true social media expert, tracking the latest trends, with a pulse on what makes a post perform.
  • A collaborative team player with great interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • A strong dislike for marketing buzzwords - you write like you talk.
