Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Support Specialist to provide direct support and implement behavior intervention plans for individuals with developmental disabilities. Our ideal candidate will have experience in behavioral support and a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support to individuals with behavioral challenges in various settings.
  • Implement and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans.
  • Assist with daily living skills, personal care, and community activities.
  • Document and report on client progress and behavioral data.
  • Work closely with families, caregivers, and other team members to provide comprehensive support.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in psychology, social work, or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in behavioral support or related field.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
