Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Behavioral Support Specialist to provide direct support and implement behavior intervention plans for individuals with developmental disabilities. Our ideal candidate will have experience in behavioral support and a passion for helping others.
Responsibilities- Provide direct support to individuals with behavioral challenges in various settings.
- Implement and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans.
- Assist with daily living skills, personal care, and community activities.
- Document and report on client progress and behavioral data.
- Work closely with families, caregivers, and other team members to provide comprehensive support.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in psychology, social work, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in behavioral support or related field.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
