Overview of the Role

This position is part of Norman Regional Health System's dedicated team, providing exceptional care to orthopedic patients. We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Ortho Spine unit.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role ranges from $27.84 to $45.46 per hour, depending on previous work experience. Additionally, employees receive competitive compensation and benefits, including tuition reimbursement and opportunities for advancement. Job Responsibilities
  • Assess and reassess patient care needs systematically, considering specific age groups and patient conditions.
  • Analyze assessments to determine nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes, involving patients, families, and other healthcare providers as necessary.
  • Implement and coordinate care through interventions to achieve goals and needs, guided by current evidence-based practice, regulations, and policy.
  • Evaluate patient outcomes using critical thinking and evidence-based knowledge to recognize problems, evaluate facts, and reach sound conclusions.
Qualifications
  • Diploma or Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Master's of Science in Nursing preferred.
  • Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license or active Multistate RN license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) training or retraining required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
  • New graduates must complete Norman Regional's Nurse Residency Program.
