The Ultrasound Technologist is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for performing ultrasound examinations and communicating clinical findings to radiologists. Key Responsibilities- Perform ultrasound examinations using various modalities and techniques
- Identify and communicate clinical findings to radiologists and other healthcare professionals
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
- Maintain accurate records and reports of patient examinations and findings
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in diagnostic imaging and technology
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- College coursework guided towards ARDMS Board certification and prior hands-on clinical ultrasound experience in a hospital setting preferred
- ARDMS Board certification required
- ARRT (R) and Vermont State Radiologic Technician license is a plus
