About Us:
MRG Exams is a leading provider of Independent Medical Exams for Worker's Compensation, Disability, and the Veterans Administration. Founded in 1998, we are dedicated to serving the Veteran community with flexible scheduling for our Independent Contractors.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a licensed Clinical Psychologist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. As a Veteran Mental Health Specialist, you will review behavioral health records electronically through a secure Web Portal and conduct comprehensive assessments in person on each Veteran.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review electronic behavioral health records and complete comprehensive assessments for up to 4 Veterans per day.
- Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal.
- Provide expert assessments to support Veterans without involvement in treatment or medication prescriptions.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A Ph.D. or Psy.D from an APA-accredited program/school.
- An active and unrestricted Psychology license.
- Meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
