We are seeking a skilled ABA Therapist to join our team at The Treetop ABA Therapy. As a Behavioral Specialist, you will work with children with autism and special needs, providing personalized therapy interventions in the comfort of their own homes.
Key Responsibilities- Implement ABA therapy interventions in clients' homes, utilizing evidence-based techniques to enhance behavior and improve quality of life.
- Collect and analyze progress data, creating reports that will be shared with Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
- Collaborate with staff to ensure seamless therapy programs, maintaining open communication and a supportive team environment.
- Keep parents updated on their child's progress, incorporating their feedback to make therapy even more effective.
- Adjust therapy programs as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Maintain a strong relationship with BCBAs, ensuring effective support and collaboration.
- Embrace feedback and be eager to learn, continuously growing and evolving as a professional.
- Use reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes, as we do not provide transportation.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience with ABA therapy or working with children with special needs is a plus, but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are highly valued.
- RBT certification is preferred, but a 40-hour ABA course is also beneficial.
- The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle the physical demands of the job is essential.
- A willingness to obtain In-Person First Aid/CPR certification and an AZ fingerprint card is required.
- A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current insurance are necessary.
