Job Overview
New Mexico Junior College is seeking a skilled Certified Nurse Aide Instructor Assistant to join our team. As a member of our Applied Sciences and Learning Technology department, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals.

About the Position
This part-time position requires approximately 1-3 days per week of instruction and supervision in our Nurse Aide Certification classroom. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be able to maintain a professional demeanor, and demonstrate empathy towards students.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist in delivering high-quality educational content to students in the Nurse Aide Certification classroom
• Observe students during skills practice and demonstration, providing constructive feedback and guidance as needed
• Supervise students during clinical rotations, promoting a safe and supportive learning environment
• Collaborate with instructors to ensure seamless delivery of curriculum and program objectives
• Participate in campus committees and contribute to the growth and development of the college community

Requirements
• Current unencumbered Nursing license required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in nursing home work or 5+ years of experience in Nurse Aide classroom instruction
• Eligibility to work in New Mexico

Salary Information
The estimated annual salary for this position is $42,000-$55,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
