We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Assembly Operations Specialist to join our team at Bostwick-Braun Company Inc. This role is essential to supporting production efficiency and ensuring that materials are ready and available for assembly or shipping.

Job Description Overview

This position will be responsible for gathering, organizing, and preparing materials and components into kits based on specific production requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Kit Assembly: Collect, organize, and package parts and materials into kits according to production or order specifications.
  • Inventory Control: Track inventory levels of components needed for kitting. Report any shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor to prevent delays in production.
  • Quality Assurance: Verify the accuracy of parts in each kit, ensuring the correct items and quantities are included. Inspect materials for any defects or damages before assembling kits.
  • Documentation: Maintain records of kits assembled, materials used, and inventory adjustments. Update tracking systems to ensure accurate inventory management.
  • Warehouse Support: Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including receiving, stocking, and organizing materials.
  • Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, kitting, or assembly role is preferred but not required. We are willing to train motivated candidates.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail when counting and organizing materials.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move items up to 75 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
  • Skills: Basic math and computer skills are required for inventory tracking and documentation.
  • Availability: Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends, as needed.

$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include competitive salary, health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, holidays, opportunities for advancement, ESOP, and 401K.
