Warehouse Coordinator

Job Summary
Medline Industries, LP is a leading nationwide supplier of medical, surgical, and pharmaceutical products to hospitals, nursing homes, HME providers, surgery centers, physician offices, and home care/hospice settings. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled Warehouse Operator to support our team in Romulus, Michigan. This role is critical to our success, and our Warehouse Operators are responsible for operating machinery to move materials around the facility for shipping, processing, and receiving. This may include unloading, scanning, moving, staging, loading, locating, picking, relocating, and stacking product.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and catalog materials received at the warehouse, arranging them for order assembly.
• Fulfill customer orders by reading production schedules, order forms, and requisitions.
• Locate and gather products for distribution to production workers, assembly lines, or shipping areas, assembling, building, wrapping, sorting, and transporting customer orders.
• Operate hand trucks, carts, dollies, forklifts, order-pickers, and walkies to transport items, maintaining a clean and safe work area.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English with proficiency, read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, and possess basic keypunch skills.
• Ability to bend, twist, reach, push, and lift for extended periods daily, with the ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for 8 hours per day for up to 6 days a week, with a high sense of urgency.
• Flexibility to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• 1-3 months related experience and/or training.
