Salary: $44.00 - $46.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing department, ensuring that high-quality patient care is delivered in a timely and efficient manner. You will work closely with the nursing team, other disciplines, patients, and families to develop effective plans of care, administer medications, perform treatments, delegate patient care responsibilities, and supervise staff to ensure tasks and interventions are implemented correctly.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments to identify patient needs and develop individualized plans of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient-centered care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
- Delegate patient care responsibilities to staff members and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, including medication administration, treatments, and test results.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have a graduate degree in nursing from an accredited institution, be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment, and possess a minimum of three years of full-time or equivalent clinical experience. Experience in long-term care and management/administrative roles is preferred. We also require excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
