**Job Title:** Senior Histotechnologist - Grossing Specialist

Location: Sparks, NV

Position Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM (30-minute lunch break)

Estimated Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year

Job Summary:

The KA Recruiting Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Histotechnologist - Grossing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory, you will be responsible for performing gross examinations and handling specimen processing in accordance with established protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform gross examination of surgical specimens as per protocols.
• Document findings and communicate with pathologists regarding specimen details.
• Prepare specimens for further processing and analysis.
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Collaborate with other lab professionals to ensure timely and accurate results.

Qualifications:

• Certified HTL (Histotechnologist) with relevant experience in grossing.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Strong knowledge of histology techniques and laboratory procedures.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
