Your Role:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of each patient's condition.
  • Develop personalized care plans, specifying type and frequency of treatments.
  • Implement treatment plans using evidence-based techniques.
  • Accurately document patient evaluations, progress, and outcomes.
  • Educate patients and families on the recovery process and treatment goals.
  • Assist with patient discharge planning for a smooth transition from therapy.
  • Provide guidance on adaptive equipment and support programs.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to physical therapy assistants in compliance with state regulations.
What You Bring:
  • Licensure: Maine State Physical Therapy Licensure required; new grads welcome.
  • Driver's License: Maine State Driver's License with a clean record required.
  • Certification: BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers preferred.
  • Communication: Strong ability to explain treatment plans clearly to patients and families.
  • Problem-Solving: Critical thinking skills to develop creative solutions for complex cases.
  • Team Collaboration: Thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with the latest therapy modalities and adaptive equipment.
