Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Luxe Brands, Inc. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth and cost-effective flow of products by leading specific sourcing strategies, cost reduction, and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop strong relationships with suppliers and evaluate their performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely availability of materials and finished goods.
• Maintain accurate ERP data related to products and identify savings opportunities.
• Manage open purchase orders, track dates, and mitigate potential supply chain problems.
• Work with accounting to maintain accurate costing, analyze errors, and generate reports for Planning, Sales Operations, and Manufacturing Teams.

Essential Functions:

• Create purchase orders based on Senior Planner requests and ad-hoc requests.
• Maintain work orders, standard costs, and update them yearly.
• Reconcile work orders to purchase orders to ensure MRP demand accuracy.
• Audit open purchase orders to ensure validity and completion.
• Track purchasing price lists and provide weekly Open Purchase Order reports to vendors.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in supply chain or procurement, preferably in manufacturing.
• Proficient in using inventory management software (ERP/MRP) purchasing modules.
• Experience with Sage 500 or X3 is a plus.
• Prior experience working with contract manufacturers is a plus.

Benefits and Compensation:
