At Jennie Stuart Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Nurse to join our team in a part-time capacity. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate nurse to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting.

About the Role

This position requires a Registered Nurse with at least one year of experience in an acute care setting. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assessing patients' needs, and developing individualized plans of care. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless transitions of care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill patients
  • Assess patients' needs and develop individualized plans of care
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Document interventions and assessments accurately and timely
  • Administer medications safely and effectively
  • Perform skills and tasks required by unit expectations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting
  • A valid Kentucky license or compact state license
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association (Healthcare Provider) or American Red Cross (Healthcare Provider)
  • ACLS and PALS certification preferred or within 90 days of employment
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience. In addition to a generous compensation package, we also offer a comprehensive benefits program, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
