Park Operations Role Overview

At SP+, we prioritize every moment for our clients. As a Park Operations Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless parking experiences.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $17.00 per hour, along with various benefits plans including medical, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, long/short term disability, life insurance, accident insurance, 401k, and paid time off.

Job Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing assistance to customers when needed, ensuring their experience is exceptional.
  • DIRECTING incoming customers to available parking spaces for a hassle-free experience.
  • Counting vehicles on location as required.
  • Issuing violation warnings to tenants and visitors who violate garage policies.
  • Patrolling transient and reserved parking levels as needed.
  • Assisting customers who have forgotten where they parked their vehicle.
  • Being punctual and responsible for your scheduled shifts, maintaining a professional uniform.
  • Controlling traffic at entrances and exits as necessary.
  • Maintaining and repairing parking equipment, assisting with general maintenance tasks under the supervision of the Facility Manager.
  • Reporting any accidents, suspected policy violations, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
  • Notifying the garage office of debris, water, oil spills, and similar incidents.
  • Substituting for Valets when necessary, if authorized.
  • Developing an in-depth knowledge of the garage, its surroundings, major streets, landmarks, and freeways to provide excellent customer service.
  • Supporting the Facility Manager with other duties as needed.
Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A valid state driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
  • The ability to safely operate a vehicle with a manual transmission (stick shift) is advantageous.
  • Availability to work special shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proof of eligibility to work legally in the U.S., with documentation provided upon hiring.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • The ability to read, write, count US currency accurately, and comprehend instructions, emails, and memos.
  • Calm adaptability to changes, delays, and unexpected events while working.
