Business Development Manager

Point Global Logistics is a dynamic and independent freight forwarder and logistics provider with a strong presence in 58 countries worldwide. We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team in the US, reporting directly to the VP of Sales. The primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Building and maintaining excellent client relationships with account ownership and transfer possibilities
- Maintaining and developing effective business relationships with clients, vendors, and employees
- Developing sales budgets and providing monthly sales reporting
- Exhibiting a "Servant Leader" attitude when developing teams and being an excellent Brand Ambassador externally
Required Experience & Skills:
- 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Familiarity with air, ocean, and land methods of transportation
- Detailed and organized
- Proficient at MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with CRM Applications such as Salesforce and Zoho
- Availability to travel
- Fast learner – able to grasp concepts outside the area of expertise

- Self-starter and fast learner
- Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Able to communicate concepts, ideas, and information at both the user and client level
- Fluent English speaker able to interact in a multi-cultural environment
- Driven to succeed
