Anti-Terrorism/Physical Security Countermeasures/Contingency Planning Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Counterterrorism and Physical Security Expert to join our team at General Dynamics Information Technology. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for conducting risk assessments, developing security plans, and implementing countermeasures to mitigate threats and vulnerabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough risk assessments of customer locations, identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities, and developing comprehensive security plans to mitigate these risks.
- Develop and implement countermeasures to prevent and respond to terrorist threats, including the use of intelligence gathering and analysis techniques.
- Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation of security plans and countermeasures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends, and provide expert advice and guidance to customers and stakeholders.
- Develop and deliver training programs to customers and stakeholders on security best practices and counterterrorism techniques.
- Conduct facility design reviews to ensure that customer facilities meet security standards and regulations.
- Plan and conduct exercises and training programs to test and improve security protocols and procedures.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to customers and stakeholders on security-related matters.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in counterterrorism and physical security, with a strong background in risk management and security planning.
- Experience working with government agencies, military organizations, and private sector companies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, stakeholders, and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of security regulations and standards, including DoD and DHS guidelines.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
