Job Description

As an Armed Security Shift Supervisor at Allied Universal, you will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer location.

You will act as a liaison between site supervisors, account managers/field operations managers, and professional security officers.

Key responsibilities include supervising staff on assigned shifts, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment ranges.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent written and oral communication skills to deal effectively with all levels of personnel and the general public.

A valid Active DC SPO License is required, and 3 years of armed supervision security experience are necessary for this role.

This position involves working in various environments, including cold weather, rain/snow, or heat.

Occasional lifting up to 40 pounds and climbing stairs, ramps, or ladders during shifts may be required.

Salary Information

We offer $32.90 per hour for this part-time weekend position.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Possess effective written and oral communication skills to interact with colleagues and clients professionally.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations.
  • Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
  • Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative wireless technology at client-specific sites.
  • Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
  • Communicate staffing needs on shift to account managers or operations managers.
  • Assure that officers receive appropriate training, developing technical and professional skills.
  • Administer JSA's and safety programs outlining site-specific hazards for professional security officers.
  • Assist account or operations managers to manage uniforms, equipment, supplies, and vehicles utilized at the account.
