We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist to join our team at Norman Regional Health System. This is an exciting opportunity for a radiologic technologist with expertise in sterile environment management and cardiovascular imaging.

Norman Regional Health System is a community hospital system located at the Southern border of the Oklahoma City metro area, renowned for its innovative cardiovascular program. Our state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower features three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms.

Job Summary

The Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist will be responsible for preparing and maintaining equipment before and during procedures, identifying and assessing patient conditions, and providing excellent patient care while maintaining a sterile environment.

This role also involves serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in their orientation, and contributing to downtime activities such as stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager.

Requirements

  • Must complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months
  • Must complete all competencies listed in department policy within 6 months
  • Education: Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification
  • Experience: Previous Procedural Area experience preferred
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: American Registry of Radiologic Technology Registered and/or RCIS certification, Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification preferred, Basic Life Support training or re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care

Salary Range

$27.84-$45.46 per hour based on previous work experience
