Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Services Category Manager to join our team at AmTrust Financial Services. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing and executing sourcing strategies and relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies from concept to execution within assigned categories.
  • Establish and grow relationships with internal business leads/departments to understand sourcing needs and requirements.
  • Support business owners to strategically manage vendor relationships.
  • Develop and present procurement driven results to business unit leadership.
  • Facilitate vendor relationship management as necessary.
  • Lead negotiation of pricing, terms and conditions.
  • Develop RF(x) materials and related documentation.
  • Analyze data to identify potential opportunities for cost savings, cost avoidance and process improvement.
  • Proactively manage contracts that are coming up for renewal or expiration/termination.
  • Lead and manage multiple projects of high complexity simultaneously.
  • Comply with corporate guidelines and regulations.
  • Facilitate legal review and Third Party Risk Management Assessment processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration.
  • 8-10 years experience in Procurement.
  • Excellent negotiation and influence skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong time-management and multi-tasking skills.
  • Great communication, interpersonal and networking skills.
  • Project management and leadership skills.
