We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in General Radiology. The ideal candidate will have experience in performing a variety of radiographic procedures, implementing radiation protection and safety standards, and preparing and administering contrast media and medications.
Responsibilities- Perform radiographic procedures to diagnose and treat illness and injuries
- Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately
- Implement radiation protection and safety standards
- Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within scope of practice and applicable regulations
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department
- BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date
- Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Indiana Medical Radiology Services Program within 6 months of hire date
- One or more of the following certifications: Cardiographic Tech, Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography, or Medical Sonographer, within 6 months of hire date
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience
- 1 year of CT experience preferred, willing to train
